CD-DVD Case. Is the Russian punk band, Machine Gun Fellatio (originally called, The Merciless Slogans), one of the most exciting heavy-metallic acts out there? Hailing from Novosibirsk, Russia, their songs are a vicious mix of pounding guitars and vicious vocals, but most of all a ripping sound that is perfect for pounding the pavement.
Machine Gun Fellatio is unlike anything else out there. They are like a symphony of angry butch punk, driven by the instrumentals of brutal punk metal. They use elements of thrash, hardcore, and speed metal, fused into a quintessentially Russian sound. The band is currently signed to Earache Records in Europe and Bloodshed Records in North America. Their debut CD/DVD release, Machine Gun Fellatio, was recorded live at the Roulette club in Moscow, Russia. Their debut CD was a compilation of demo tapes recorded in their teens, and had songs originally written for a Soviet punk rock band, Apoptozak, with some additional material added.

Their live shows are unrivaled in the death/grind world, and they regularly have shows in other countries as well. The original line up was Alexis Alexeyev (vocals), Andrei Zaderin (drums), Dmitry Levashov (guitars), and Maxim Levashov (bass). However, the band eventually added a second guitarist, Oleg Badovny (guitars). The first line up was short-lived, but not before they had released a split CD with Amorphis, and a handful of live shows. For a while, Zaderin left the band to start a punk band called, Pete and Pete, with former The Bunnymen bassist, Ian McCulloch. Zaderin was replaced by Dmitry Solomatin (drums), with Oleg joining back in as the new bassist.
